Robert F. Schneider

Client Service & Operations Associate

In my role as Client Service & Operations Associate, my responsibility is to support our clients and deliver an exceptional client experience. I collaborate with each client’s respective CFP® Advisor to manage the client service model including communications, client meetings, onboarding, and document management.  My goal is to ensure our clients remain on track, so think of me as your teammate with the role of keeping you financially organized.

Prior to joining WWA, my career path has taken me from retail banking to a fulfilling role as Senior Planned Giving Manager with Special Olympics International.  I was responsible for managing all aspects of the Planned Giving Program including marketing, database management, reporting, estate administration, charitable gift annuity administration and stewardship. From time to time when a promise fell short of expectations, I kept the H.E.A.T. approach in mind - Hear, Empathize, Apologize and Take action.  This mindset allows me to respond to a client's concerns and to build long-term, trusting relationships. I believe my love for helping others and passion for personal finance serve me well in my role at Washington Wealth Advisors.

Upon the birth our daughter, we began our own family's path towards financial organization, so WWA's approach to client service is personal to me.  Knowing that each CFP® Advisor keeps a client's best interests at the forefront of advice was a true differentiator for me in deciding to join the team. In addition to working with service-oriented colleagues, I have the opportunity to continue to learn and grow in a field about which I am truly passionate. I graduated from Lasell College in 2010 with a BA in Humanities and am currently studying for the Series 65 exam.

In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my wife, daughter, and our dog. We love being outside at playgrounds, dog parks and swimming pools.  Fun fact about me, I write and throw with my right hand, but I shoot a basketball with my left hand and use my left foot to kick a ball.  So, I am all in when playing sports. I also enjoy reading, taking in a good movie, and, of course, watching the Washington area sports teams! Hoping to see the Washington Football Team win a Super Bowl one day!
