Client Operations Coordinator

As Client Operations Coordinator I focus my efforts on both client service and related operations to ensure an overall exceptional client experience. My primary mission is to manage our relationship with our recommended custodian, Fidelity, and serve as a liaison between clients and Fidelity. In addition, I manage the setup of new accounts and the onboarding process for all new clients. So, if you need to access your funds, add bank information, change your beneficiary, initiate a rollover, get your tax documents, or have other account needs, I’m your go-to team member.

Prior to joining WWA, I worked in Human Resources as a Business Partner, as well as an Employee Benefits Specialist in the corporate world, and as a Scholarship Specialist for a foundation. Each of those functions is, essentially, customer service, just wrapped a bit differently. Helping people, guiding them through transactions, and demystifying processes are part of my DNA. I graduated with a BS degree from University of Maryland College Park and earned my Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans.

Outside of the office, I enjoy connecting (real or virtually) with family, keeping my financial and administrative houses in order, and serving as a newsletter and website editor/publisher for my congregation’s women’s organization. In addition, I help communicate and participate in several activities which provide support to food insecure families in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties.

My friends know I get joy by creating and working with spreadsheets as well as web-based systems.  So having a position that allows me to work within our various online applications to support our clients’ needs, and even to enhance their know-how when using these powerful tools, is a win-win! I am proud to be a part of this team where our advisors - as fiduciaries - provide sound and unbiased advice to clients.
