October Food Drive at WWA

It's our 3rd Annual October Food Drive and Together we CAN make a difference!
We believe in engaging with the communities where we live and work. In that spirit, we are hosting our annual food drive in support of Arlington Food Assistance Center and Loudoun Hunger Relief. Each organization plays a vital role in serving food insecure individuals and families. Read below to learn about their missions.
We encourage you to participate with your donation of non-perishable canned goods collected at our Falls Church or One Loudoun Ashburn office throughout the month of October. We have shared an Everyday Wish List to give you some guidance on their preferred items. At the end of the month, we'll transport all donations to their facilities. Help us fill a truck full of food for each organization! Thank you for your support.

Arlington Food Assistance Center provides 2,400 Arlington families and individuals dignified access to nutritious, supplemental groceries free of charge. After 30 years since its founding, the Arlington Food Assistance Center remains dedicated to its simple but critical mission of obtaining and distributing groceries, directly and free of charge, to people living in Arlington who cannot afford to purchase enough food to meet their basic needs. Loudoun Hunger Relief has served as Loudoun County’s primary emergency food pantry for 26 years, providing food assistance to the hungry and food insecure in Loudoun County. This past year, LHR directly served more than 8,000 individuals through 73,000 visits, and almost half are children. Last fiscal year, LHR distributed over 1.4 million pounds of food and served over 70 families per day. LHR distributes food to families six days a week, year-round.
